Hmmm, while I do like most ranks as is, I'm up for some modifications for reasons of smoothlining & thematic authenticity. There were many orders of medieval knights, the Templars being but one, but since they have no mention whatsoever in Arthurian legend, I suggest entirely removing the reference thereto & replacing it with the 4 lesser known knightly orders of Arthurian literature (& all lesser in stature to the Order of the Round Table). They were the Queen's Knights, the Knights of the Watch, the Table of Errant Companions & the Table of Less-Valued Knights (unfortunate name that).
Rank1: Page or Page Boy/Page Girl (fully in-training) No Level or RP Requirement (Default Rank).
Rank2: Squire/Handmaid (in-training & minimally war-capable) Level 30 / No RP Requirement.
Rank3: Knight/Lady (still in-training & marginally accomplished at war) Level 45 / No RP Requirement / Direct Recommendation from One of the Clan-Council or from Sara Herself ( ! new MAXimum rank for non-clansite-registered clan members ! ).
Rank4: -Errantry Knight-/-Errantry Lady- (can recruit) Level 50 / 2000 RP Requirement.
Rank5: -Watch Knight-/-Watch Lady- (can recruit) Level 55 / 10,000 RP Requirement.
Rank6: -Queen's Knight-/-Queen's Lady- (can recruit) Level 60 / 25,000 RP Requirement.
Rank7: ~Round Table Knight~/~Round Table Lady~ (for clan's honored council members) By Express Invitation Only.
Rank8: *Sara's choice* (for our clan's guiding *star*).
-Optionally, if Sara doesn't want non-forum users fully recognized as 'dubbed' knights, Rank3 could be named Man at Arms/Shield Maiden.
I liked the old Paladin/Valkyrie ranks, but sadly can't make them fit with "~Round Table ____~" due to the 19-space text limit in CoR ... the terms are just too potent for rank 3 or lower ... will miss them.
